Why does PBD commemorate Gandhi ji ?

PBD commemorates the return of Gandhiji from South Africa  to india on  9 January 1915.

Since 2015, PBD convention has been organised once every two year

PBD commemorates the contribution of Indian diaspora to create a better understanding of India abroad, support India's causes and work for the welfare of the local Indian community.
